Continuing its victory row, Nepal registered another success in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20 Asia Region Qualifier B, this time against Bhutan!
In a match with Bhutan held at Bangi, Selangor in Malaysia on October 09, 2018, Nepal bagged a sound victory by 117 runs.
This comes as an additional encouragement for the Nepali team that is already riding on the joy of resounding wins over Malaysia, Myanmar and Thailand teams, the wins that moved Nepal to the top of the Group B in the tournament.
Choosing to bat first, Nepali team set a 151-run target for Bhutan, which failed to reach and saw its batting order falling all out for 33 runs in 16.4 overs.
Pradeep Airee stood as the ‘Player of the Match’.
While Nepal won all the four, Bhutan won only one game and lost the three. Now, Nepal has eight points in total drawn from its wins.
Surprisingly, Nepali cricket team is playing with Bhutan after a long gap of 12 years.
Nepal’s next in the tournament will be with China on October 10, 2018 and Singapore on October 12, 2018, the last match of the qualifier tournament.
