Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium Gets NPR 5.5 Mn Boost

In the latest update to the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium, the Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation (DSF) received NPR 5.5 million in funds from the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) for stadium construction.

CCCI President Sahan Lal Pradhan presented a cheque to DSF Chairman and Gautam Buddha stadium brainchild Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus). CCCI President Pradhan assured the foundation of increasing CCCI financial support to 10 million as promised earlier.

Additionally, District Cricket Association (DCA) Chairperson, Kailash Pradhan presented a cheque worth NPR 255,555 to Dhurmus.

Chitwan district’s Thapaliya Brothers & Suppliers also announced that it would provide sanitary materials for the stadium, which is being constructed in Bharatpur Metropolitan City – 15.
