In an important announcement for Nepal youth, Minister for Labor, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista today said that the plight of the country’s youth going abroad for employment will come to an end within the next five years.
Bista made the crucial announcement at the inauguration of the Labor and Employment Office of Gandaki Province in Pokhara.
Currently, the Nepal Government is preparing to create youth-targeted job programs.
Bista further said that the government was doing whatever best it can in utilizing the available human resources of Nepal by engaging youth in various sectors including agriculture.
The Labour Minister added that the labor and employment office will be opened in all of Nepal’s seven provinces and likewise an employment service center in all 753 local levels for sending aspiring foreign migrant workers.
