After winning the day and night ODI series 2-0 against Papua New Guinea, Nepal is looking to continue its winning streak in the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 Qualifier tournament.
Nepal is playing against the USA in its first tri-nation ODI series on Monday.
The match will be played at Al Amerat Cricket Stadium, Oman at 4:15 PM today.
Nepal is currently in sixth position with 4 points in the League-2 table featuring seven teams, including Oman, Scotland, the USA, the UAE, Namibia, and PNG.
So far, the Himalayan team has played 4 matches and have won 2 and lost 2.
On the other hand, the USA is in second spot with 12 points. The American team played 12 matches and registered 6 wins and 6 defeats.
Talking about today’s match against the USA, Nepali Captain Gyanendra Malla said, “America is a strong team. There are new strong players. They have performed very well against Papua New Guinea (PNG).
“To secure win against America will be a tough job this time,” he added.
