The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has announced the preliminary squad of 32 cricketers for the closed camp training for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 tri-series in March.
Oman will host the tri-series, and Nepal and the USA are the remaining two teams.
The CAN selection committee, in coordination with the new head coach Dav Whatmore, has selected the squad that included several fresh faces who excelled in the recently held Prime Minister’s Cup National Cricket Tournament.
Prithu Baskota, Bikram Sob, Saurabh Khanal, Rohit Paudel, Shahab Alam, Rajesh Pulami, Sandeep Jora, Kamal Singh Airee, Asif Sheikh, Sushan Bhari, Kushal Bhurtel, Lalit Rajbanshi, Sunil Dhamala, Bibek Yadav, Ram Naresh Giri, Hari Shankar Shah, Krishna Karki, Arjun Kumal, Khadak Bohara, Pawan Sarraf, Anuj Chunara, Aarif Sheikh, Sharad Veshawkar, Dipendra Singh Airee, Abinash Bohara, Kushal Malla, Sompal Kami, Sandeep Lamichhane, Karan KC, Paras Khadka, Binod Bhandari, and Gyanendra Malla
Prithu Baskota, Bibek Yadav, Anuj Chunara, Saurav Khanal, Ram Naresh Giri, Sunil Dhamala, and Krishna Karki are some of the emerging players included in the squad.
