The ACC U19 Asia Cup 2019 will begin tomorrow – September 06, 2019. Nepal will be facing Sri Lanka in the U19 Asia Cup 2019 opening match on Friday.
The Nepal U19 team landed in Sri Lanka for practice and training on September 02, 2019. The Nepali players have played three practice games and wrapped up their training for the upcoming big game today.
The ACC U19 Asia Cup match between Nepal and Sri Lanka landed in favor of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka beat Nepal by 5 wickets in the D/L method.
Both the teams made an overall score of 159 runs; however, Sri Lanka gained an edge over Nepal owing to its wickets and overs margin.
Nepal (U19) have won the toss and have chosen to bat first. Nepal made a total of 159 runs with a loss of 9 wickets in 42 overs, whereas Sri Lanka made the same score with a loss of just 5 wickets in 33.4 overs. The match was reduced to 42 overs for each side.
