20 Nepalis have died of COVID-19 in UK

According to the Nepali Embassy in London, 20 Nepalis have died due to coronavirus infection in the United Kingdom so far.

Recently, three Nepalis namely, Gopal Gurung, Hansa Raj Lingden and Bima Nachhiring Rai have died of the deadly virus.

So far, the UK Government has reported 138,078 coronavirus infection cases and 18,738 death cases. Currently, 118,996 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals and no patient has recovered so far.

According to the global coronavirus statistics, the Nepalis living in their homeland seems to be safe and secure from COVID-19 than the Nepalis living in various foreign countries including the US, UK, Australia and other European nations.

As of today, Nepal has reported only 48 coronavirus positive cases and 10 among them have already recovered. These numbers are negligible when compared to infection cases in foreign countries.
