The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) is all prepping to vaccinate adults above 18 years old. The city administration is vaccinating the citizens on the festive eve of Dashain.
The vaccination centers will be set up in all the wards of Kathmandu City. The administration will also set up additional centers to administer the first dose of Vero Cell until October 10.
Apart from the 32 vaccination centers, Vero Cell vaccinations would be performed by the Nepal Police Hospital, Bir Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Paropakar Hospital, and Birendra Military Hospital. This was stated by Hari Bahadur Kunwar, Chief of Public Health Department of KMC.
The interested parties would have to submit a voluntary application form. The individuals are requested to come to the vaccination centers and attend the vaccination sessions during the three-day sessions.
The registration card or registration numbers have to be taken along with the individuals going for the vaccination. The KMC authorities stated this.
The vaccinations will start at 10 AM in the morning and will end at 4 PM during these three days.
