Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has finished 2019 as the leading wicket taker in the Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament.
Sandeep has taken 28 wickets in 16 T20I matches in 2019.
On the other hand, Karan KC (Nepal) and Brandon Glover (Netherlands) secured second position as they took 19 matches for the same number of wickets.
Meanwhile, in the women’s cricket, Naruemol Chaiwai and Nattaya Boochatham of Thailand became highest run-scorer and highest wicket taker of T20 in 2019, respectively.
Naruemol Chaiwai scored 517 runs in 25 matches with average of 25.85.
Whereas, Nattaya Boochatham took 40 wickets in 25 games.
