Nepal Reports 4,392 New Cases, 3,522 Recoveries, 21 Deaths Today!

Currently, Nepal has 37,382 active cases, with 12,336 patients in institutional isolation, 25,046 in home isolation, and 4,808 in quarantine.

Nepal Reports 4,392 New Cases, 3,522 Recoveries, 21 Deaths Today!

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Nepal has reported 4,392 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the nation’s COVID-19 caseload to 126,137.

The new cases were reported after the government has tested 16,531 suspects for coronavirus infection on Thursday.

Meanwhile, a total of 3,522 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the country after a successful recovery from the infection in the last 24 hours. With this, the recovery cases in the country reached 88,040. At present, Nepal’s recovery rate stands at 69.8%.

 

Currently, Nepal has 37,382 active cases, with 12,336 patients in institutional isolation, 25,046 in home isolation, and 4,808 in quarantine centers. Among the active cases, 315 are receiving treatment in ICUs, and 77 are on ventilator support.

Coronavirus

Unfortunately, 21 people have lost their lives due to coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours. Now, Nepal’s COVID-19 death tally stands at 715.

Among the new cases, Kathmandu Valley alone reported 2,402 infection cases, including 1,784 in Kathmandu district, 244 in Bhaktapur district, and 374 in Lalitpur district.
