Nepal Govt. Initiates Extensive VNY 2020 Logo Social Media Campaign

In yet another extensive Visit Nepal 2020 campaign, the Nepal Government has asked the people of Nepalis to promote the Visit Nepal 2020 Logo across their social media profiles.

Issuing a press statement on August 11, 2019, Nepal Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Ministry urged Nepalis across the world to expand and promote VNY 2020.

The Ministry has encouraged Nepali individuals, organizations (public and private) and associations to share and post the Visit Nepal 2020 logo across their social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and their respective websites.

With this move, the Ministry aims to establish Nepal as a major tourism destination of natural beauty, cultural diversity and adventure tourism in the global tourism market. Besides, it seeks to engage Nepalis in the VNY promotions and gain their support for the same.

The government rolled out the VNY 2020 campaign with a target of drawing 2 million tourists to Nepal. The Nepal Government has approved a budget of NPR 100 million for the promotions of VNY 2020 this fiscal year.

The Himalayan nation has already recorded a total of 1.1 million tourists in the year 2018.
