Cricketer Sharad Vesawkar Marries Actress Nisha Adhikari

Nepal cricketer Sharad Vesawkar tied the nuptial knot with actress Nisha Adhikari at Hotel Annapurna in Durbarmarg.

The marriage ceremony was attended by family members, close friends, prominent cricketers and film professionals.

Sharad and Nisha, who were dating since 2008, recently decided to get married ending the number of rumours.

Vesawkar made his national team debut in 2004 and played a key role of a finisher in helping the team qualify for the maiden ICC Twenty20 World Cup in 2014. He also became the first Nepali cricketer to score a century in international cricket (105* against Fiji in 2010). Vesawkar, a middle order batsman, is regarded as a confident batsman in the current national team.

Nisha, at the age of 21, first came into the limelight by claiming the Miss International Nepal title in 2005. She made her debut with Mission Paisa in 2009 and has featured in over 16 films.
