PM Oli Presents ‘Nepal’s Annual Report – FY 2019/20’ to President Bhandari!
The report includes all the significant works accomplished by the government during the year.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented ‘Nepal Government’s Annual Report’ for the fiscal year 2019/20 to President Bhandari on January 7, 2021.
Mr. Oli submitted the report in line with Article 53 of the Constitution and Section 41 of the Good Governance Act, 2064 BS. The report comprised the Nepali Government’s works and the achievements made during the last fiscal year.
In the report, the government penned several important works completed during the fiscal year towards achieving the national ambition of ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepalis’ while prioritizing the country’s sovereignty, prosperity, unity, dignity, territorial integrity, independence, and good governance.
Some of the achievements/works of the government mentioned in the report are:
Published a new political and administrative map that includes Limpiyadhura, Lipulekh, and Kalapani areas
Measured the new height of Mt. Everest employing Nepal’s own human resource
Blacktopped 979 km of road
Upgraded 757 km of road to seasonal roads
Constructed 218 bridges
Expanded irrigation facilities to an additional 5,567 hectares of land
High and medium quality drinking water service was increased by 2% each and stood at 91% and 23%
Added 149 MW of electricity to the national grid
Access to electricity reached an additional 434,000 households
Reconstructed 508,141 private houses destroyed in the 2015 earthquake
Construction of the Gautam Buddha International Airport made 91% progress while that of the Pokhara Regional International Airport made 62% progress
Employed 87,757 individuals in 701 local units under the Prime Minister Employment Programme
Collected total revenue of NPR 793.78 billion and improved trade deficit by 16.8%
Enacted 20 Acts and three Regulations
Approved the Integrated Legal Assistance Policy, 2076 BS
Adopted a clear strategy and maintained coordination to control the coronavirus pandemic
The PM also submitted the National Security Council (NSC) Annual Report for the FY 2019/20 in line with Article 26 (3) of the Constitution.
Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel, and Foreign Affairs Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali were present at the occasion.
