Historical Pond ‘Rani Pokhari’ is All Set To Be Inaugurated On Oct 23!

With the completion of the reconstruction of the historical Rani Pokhari, the Nepali Government has scheduled the inauguration ceremony of the iconic pond on October 23, 2020.

After the devastating 2015 earthquake ravaged the famous pond, the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA) had started the reconstruction work in March last year.

Now, the pond surrounding the Balgopaleshwar Temple regained its original glory, style, and shape, as built by King Pratap Malla.

After the inauguration ceremony, the Balgopaleshwar Temple will be opened for the public during the 2020 Tihar celebrations.
