The Task Force of the ruling alliance of Nepal has submitted a draft, which aims to establish the Common Minimum Program (CMP), to Prime Minister Sher Deuba. The draft submission was made at a special ceremony on Friday.
The ruling alliance’s top leaders attended the ceremony at the Prime Ministerial residence in Baluwatar.
The CMP aims to ensure a smooth government administration by establishing a consensus with all the coalition leaders.
The program encompasses various aspects, including the propagation of the ruling alliance policies and Nepal democracy strengthening. The draft underscored the requirement of law and order and good governance in Nepal.
The program also strives to achieve environmental balance and realize social transformation in the nation. The alliance has indicated to the PM that the central cabinet will take shape only after CMP takes off.
Currently, the Prime Minister is having a hard time expanding his cabinet as Madhav Kumar-faction is indecisive about whether it wants to join the alliance. However, PM Sher is undeterred and is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to the expansion.
