An Audience With Karna Sakya “Tourism With Purpose”

With #VisitNepal2020 in offing, Nepal sorely needs a new vision, new energy and a new sense of purpose for how it projects itself unto the global tourism phenomenon whilst using tourism to reshape the country’s economy.

In support of Visit Nepal Year 2020 Campaign and with a view to initiate a new vision for Adventure Tourism, Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN) is organizing an interaction cum dialogue program titled “An Audience with Karna Sakya – Tourism with Purpose” featuring tourism virtuoso and visionary, best-selling author, positive thinker and conservationist Mr. Karna Sakya.

This 3-hour long program will be mediated by social campaigner, tourism innovator, and pioneer women entrepreneur Ms. Renchin Yonjan.

 

(Note: TAAN will also accord special felicitation to Mr. Karna Shakya as well as Mrs. Renchin Yonjan in recognition of their unparalleled and immense contribution to the development and promotion of tourism in Nepal.)

Program Objectives:

  • To support the Visit Nepal 2020 campaign
  • To promote the practice of interaction and dialogue in the tourism industry
  • To allow for the exchange of tourism experiences and ideas among the audience and guests
  • To advent and initiate a new vision in adventure tourism
  • To galvanize and strengthen collective efforts among all tourism stakeholders
