Addressing the Nepal Music and Drama Art Award 2075 at Shital Niwas on July 10, 2019, Nepal President Bidya DevI Bhandari said that ‘Nepal’s literature could get international exposure if its creations are made available in other languages as well’.
The President added that literature, art and music have an important role in establishing Nepal among other world countries.
Praising Nepal for its natural beauty and cultural diversity, she asked Nepalis to encourage people who are skilled in arts and music.
On the occasion, President Bhandari honored Senior Nepali Dramatist Shyam Das Baishnab and Senior Nepali Singer Prem Dhoj Pradhan with letters of appreciation.
