Ride-sharing services to restart in Kathmandu

The chief district officers have decided to allow private transportation operation in Kathmandu on odd-even rationing from Tuesday. On another positive note, the ride-sharing services will resume from Monday evening itself.

Ride-sharing operators Tootle, and Pathao individually stated that they would continue to observe the safety measures during the ride operations. It is likely that they will also abide by odd-even rationing.

Tootle Founder Sixit Bhatta says, “We have asked the passengers to compulsorily wear a mask and maintain necessary precautions.” Reiterating the same was Pathao Regional Director Aseem Man Singh Basnyat said,“We are not using PPEs but have maintained all necessary precautions.”

Motor Cabs

It is to be observed that private transportation such as taxis and motor cabs will operate from Tuesday.
