Even after three months of its outbreak in China, the coronavirus has not yet ceased to wreak havoc across the world.
The coronavirus has infected more than 3.1 million people and claimed 218,187 lives across 185 countries. And, the number is still counting.
Currently, a total of 1,962,223 patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the world. Among them, 1,905,253 patients are in mild condition and 56,970 are in critical condition.
However, 959,224 patients have already recovered and discharged.
The US continues to be the coronavirus epicenter with infection cases 4 times more than the second worst-hit country and 12 times more than China.
As of today, the US has reported 1,035,765 coronavirus infection cases and 59,266 death cases. New York is the worst-hit state with coronavirus cases more than that of many countries.
The New York Government has reported 301,450 coronavirus positive cases and 23,144 death cases.
Surprisingly, China has only 647 coronavirus active cases and has reported a minuscule number of new infections with nearly zero death cases.
Spain, Italy, France, Germany, and the UK are some other countries most affected by the coronavirus pandemic and have recorded more than 20,000 deaths.
However, Nepal has reported only 57 coronavirus infection cases. And, 16 patients have already recovered and discharged.
