FIFA World Cup 2020: Nepal Vs Kuwait to Take Place in Bhutan

The upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asia Cup 2023 Qualifiers match between Nepal and Kuwait will be played at Bhutan, confirms All Nepal Football Association.

The match was earlier said to be played in Kathmandu but was shifted to Bhutan after AFC raised its objection over the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.

Although ANFA proposed as an alternative venue earlier, Kuwait had refused the suggestion. However, Nepal will now take on Kuwait in Bhutan on November 19, 2019.
