French Embassy In Nepal Celebrates Bastille Day Virtually!

In view of coronavirus pandemic, the French Embassy in Nepal has celebrated Bastille Day virtually on July 14, 2020.

The virtual National Day celebrations featured messages by Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali and Ambassador François-Xavier Léger.

Moreover, a few short clips of prominent personalities who share an intimate relation with Nepal and France were also put online.

As a small gift on this occasion, the French Embassy has made a photobook retracing the Nepal-France history available for the public on its official website.

The photobook was published on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Nepal-France relationship (1949-2019).
