Beauty Hunt Begins in Nepal, Miss Nepal 2019 Welcomes You!

Nepal’s most-sought annual beauty pageant is back with its 2019 edition! The country’s premiere pageant ‘Miss Nepal 2019’ is coming very soon, and is being considered as a Silver Jubilee edition.

So, what are you waiting for? The hunt has begun for Nepal’s fashion icon for 2019!

As per the official announcement, the organizers are welcoming girls in the age group of 19-25 years.

The interested applicants should meet the following criteria to get into the competition:

• Height: 5.4 inches
• Status: Unmarried
• Education: Minimum plus two or equivalent
• No tattoo on the body
• Age should be between 19-25 years (as of December 31, 2019)
• Should be a Nepali Citizen or holding Nepali Passport for Non-Resident Nepalis

The auditions will be held across major cities of Nepal beginning from March 13, 2019:

• March 13-15, 2019: Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, Butwal, and Pokhara
• March 17-19, 2019: Chitwan, Birgunj, Dharan and Birtamod
• March 24, 2019: Final auditions in Kathmandu
• May 09, 2019: Grand finale in Kathmandu

A total of 20-25 candidates will be shortlisted after the final audition, who will have to undergo 7-week long training.

Choreographer Rachana Gurung Sharma is handling the life-changing grooming session, while Glamour Photographer Raj Bhai Suwal will handle photography and former Miss Nepal Earth Roshni Khatri will be the Activation Coordinator for the event.

Sushma Singh from Women’s Planet, Ashutosh Aggarwal from Natraj Boutique and Fashion Designer Manish Rai are the wardrobe designers.

As per the official information, the finals of Miss Nepal 2019 will also be the winners of Miss Nepal Oceania, Miss Hong Kong Nepal, Miss Purwanchal, Miss Pokhara, Miss Paschimanchal and Miss Chitwan in direct placement as affiliation to Miss Nepal pageant.

Besides Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Universe, Miss Nepal Earth, Miss Nepal International, and Miss Nepal 2019 beauty pageant winners will also be chosen for other global beauty contests as Nepal’s representation.

Miss Nepal World 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Miss Nepal Universe 2018 Manita Devkota, Miss Nepal Earth 2018 Priya Sigdel, Miss Nepal International 2018 Ronali Amatya and Miss Nepal Supranational 2018 Mahima Singh were the special attractions at the Miss Nepal 2019 announcement press meet.
