ASEA 2018 Promotes Nepal’s Adventure Tourism

Nepal was promoted as the ultimate adventure tourism destination at a recently-held travel expo in New Delhi, India on January 29, 2018.

Adventure Sports Asia Expo (ASEA) 2018 that was held during January 27-29, 2018 stood as a great platform for promoting Nepal’s potential as a global destination for adventure tourism.

“The three-day expo provided a platform for promotion of Nepal as the ultimate adventure destination, in getting in touch with adventure tour buyers and sellers in the region and in providing latest updates of Nepal’s adventure tourism segment,” said an official release.

ASEA 2018 saw the participation of seven firms representing from Nepali tourism industry and key officials of Nepal Tourism Board, Nepal Airlines and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Nepal Chapter.

Nepal is well-known for adventurous sports such mountaineering, white water rafting, jungle safari, bungee jumping, paragliding, canyoning, zip flyer, Heli skiing, among others.
