Because of its biodiversity that is one of richest in the world and unique variety of flora & fauna, Nepal is fondly called as ‘Amazon of Asia’. The country is home to 8.9% of the total world’s birds’ species, 4.2 % of the world’s butterfly species and 3.96 percent of the world’s mammal species.
