2018 was a spectacular period for Nepal in terms of development and some major advancements. During this year, the country also compiled data for its first national economic census report 2018.
The Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) conducted its first National Economic Census (NEC) between April 14-June 14, 2018.
The report provides insight into Nepal’s economic, industry and business areas and further categorizes the data based on the distribution of establishments, persons engaged and related characteristics.
The main objective of the Nepal Economic Census 2018 is to create a storehouse of information for business communities, civil society, development partners, policy makers, planners and media to formulate policies and create development programs.
