World Kungfu Championship 2019: Nepal Bags 7 Medals

Congratulations Nepalis! Your homeland has made another achievement at the international level.

Nepali Kung Fu players bagged 7 medals at the WMAC World Cup Bregenz Open Championship 2019 in Bregenz, Austria.

The championship was held during November 15-16, 2019.

 

The sports event Sanjay Putuwar claiming one gold, a silver and a bronze, while Kamal Magar bagged two silvers and a bronze in three different categories. Ramesh Maharjan also added a bronze to his achievements.

In a honor, the World Martial Arts Committee President Harals Folabori and Secretary-General Denila Klofar presented medals to the winners.

The players returned to Nepal on November 20, 2019 amid a warm welcome by Nepal Uma Kung fu Association’s president and WMSC’s international board of director Ashok KC, association’s vice-president Sanjit Rai and Asian WMAC’s international director Siddhartha Lama.
