Ncell Introduces 4G Service in Nepal

Ncell, the leading GSM mobile service provider of the country, has launched its 4G/LTE service in the Kathmandu Valley.

The service is also available in Nagarkot, Banepa and Dhulikhel. Now the customers of Ncell can enjoy fourth generation (4G)/long term evolution (LTE) service.

Ncell said that its customers carrying USIM with a 4G compatible handset can experience 4G from Thursday (June 1, 2017) onwards. Ncell is excited about the impact that 4G/LTE is set to bring to the people and the nation.

Currently, the company is testing 4G service in 40 other cities nationwide and planning to provide access to 4G coverage for at least 15 per cent of the population within 2017.
