Miss Nepal 2020: Applications Live Now!

The Hidden Treasure (THT), the organizer, has announced the application for 25th edition of the ‘Miss Nepal 2020’ pageant in a program in Kathmandu on February 24, 2020.

The last date of application is March 27, 2020 and can be applied on the official website of Miss Nepal: Missnepal.com.np/.

Qualifications Required:

  • Age: 18-26 years (as of December 31, 2020)
  • Height: Minimum 5 ft. 4 in.
  • Marital Status: Unmarried
  • Education: Minimum 10+2 or equivalent
  • Candidate should have Nepali citizenship and passport

NRNs (Non-resident Nepalis) meeting these criteria can also apply for the pageant.

Miss Nepal 2020 Press Meet

Auditions for the beauty pageant will be held in Dhangadhi, Nepaljung, Butwal, Pokhara, Chitwa, Birjung, Dharan and Birtamod between March 8-24, 2020. The final audition will be organized in Kathmandu on March 28, 2020.

Miss Nepal 2020 - The Hidden Treasure

This year five local beauty pageants including Miss Purwanchal Dharan, Miss Pokhara, Far-western Butwal, Miss Chitwan and Miss Itahari have got THT affiliation. The winner will get a chance to take part in Miss Nepal pageant.

All the title winners in the ‘Miss Nepal 2020’ pageant will receive NPR 2,50,000 cash prize and the sub-title winners will receive NPR 25,000 cash prize.

According to THT, only four national pageants including Miss Nepal World, Miss Nepal Earth, Miss Nepal International and Miss Nepal Supranational will be organized this year.

Nepal national pageants 2019

Miss Universe pageant has not renewed the contract with Nepal this year. So, Nepal could not participate in Miss Universe 2020.

According to THT, the ‘Miss Nepal 2020’ pageant will be organized at Durbar Marg-based Hotel Annapurna on May 15, 2020.
