Two Nepali men Bikram Timilsina and his cousin Santosh Timilsina shook their hands for almost 48 hours and 35 minutes in 2011, thus setting a record of the longest handshake in the world.
With this, they broke the previous record, which was a tie between Nepal and New Zealand, wherein the handshake lasted for 33 hours and 3 minutes.
