India’s Film Bazaar to Showcase Nepali Film Projects

India’s National Film Development Corporation (NDFC) has announced the Film Bazaar Co-Production Market 2019 to be held in Goa between November 20-24, 2019.

Film Bazaar’s Co-Production Market is a financing and co-production event for South Asian countries’ short films and documentaries.

The Film Bazaar has received 14 film entries this year from Bangladesh, Bhutan, France, Nepal, Singapore and the US, besides India. The films have been made in Assamese, Bengali, Dzonghka or Bhutanese, English, Gujarati, Hindi and Malayali among others.

 

The list of films also includes projects from newcomers and seasoned filmmakers such as Indian Director Alka Raghuram and Bangladeshi filmmaker Rubaiyat Hossain and France’s Les Films.

The Film Bazar unit also runs a Work-In-Progress Lab, Producers Lab, Viewing Room, Industry Screenings, Knowledge Series seminar program.
