Touching a new high, gold prices in Nepal reached NPR 70,000 per tola.
The Himalayan nation recorded an increase of another NPR 500 on August 08, 2019, taking gold prices from NPR 69,500 to a shooting NPR 70,000.
The price of the yellow metal reached NPR 70,000 to record an all-time high, informed the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA).
Similarly, the price of silver also increased by NPR 15 to NPR 825 per tola on Thursday.
Nepal Federation of Gold and Silver dealers said that the hike in the price of gold was due to an increase of prices in the international market, where the Federal Reserve decreased the interest rates for the first time since a decade.
