Google Introduces ‘Shoelace’

After Google Plus failed to position Google among the top social-networking platforms, the company has introduced a new network platform Shoelace.

At present, the app has been rolled out only in New York. The new app allows users to pick their interest and then provides them with ‘select’ local activities called Loops. Plus point? You get to meet people with similar interests in the same area.

The app is unlike other apps, which let’s you only share interests with your friends if they are on the same platform. Shoelace allows users to share with people even off the platform.

Users also have the opportunity to create activities and invite friends to join them.
