The Annapurna Hamro Purbanchal International Gold Cup 2076 football tournament began on November 02, 2019 at the Domlal Rajbanshi Stadium in Jhapa.
A total of 10 teams including five A-division teams are participating in the international tournament.
This includes Armed Police Force Club, Gorkha Boys Rupandehi, Nepal Police Club, Jhapa 11 AFC and Tribhuvan Army Club from Nepal.
The first match was held between host Jayon Sports Club and Indian team Sikkim Attacking FC.
According to host club Chair Bhakta Khawas, the winner of the tournament will be awarded NPR 1.25 million and first runner-up will get NPR 625,000.
Likewise, the best goalkeeper, defender, forward, midfield and emerging players will receive cash prizes worth NPR 15,000 each.
The outstanding player of the tournament gets a motorbike.
