Nepal has officially formed diplomatic ties with Uganda. Nepal’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations, Durga Prasad Bhattarai, and Uganda’s representative to the United Nations, Adonia Ayebare, have signed a Joint Communiqué at a ceremony held in New York on Tuesday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nepal.
At the ceremony, the two diplomats said that the agreement will bring Nepal and Uganda together at the multilateral forum and help form healthy bilateral cooperation, and sharing of experiences in growth and peace.
Both the ambassadors also informed UN Secretary-General António Guterres about the establishment of the bilateral ties.
