]]>Today, the Nepal-America Film Society (NAFS) announced the winners of the NAIFF 2021 that was held virtually from June 18 – 20, 2021, in Maryland.
According to the organizers, the festival featured 30 films from more than 14 various countries.
The festival has received film submissions from Nepal, America, and South and Southeast Asian countries.
A jury of six female film experts, including Sapna Shakya, Ramyata Limbu, Nina Streich, Rebecca Bustamante, Rita Meher, and Portia Cobbwill, selected the best films for the international film festival.
NAIFF aims to celebrate diverse cultures through the art of cinema. Since 2017, the event has garnered remarkable popularity as an emerging platform for filmmakers with Nepali backgrounds and American filmmakers along with filmmakers from the international diaspora.

Dr Khatey will be representing Nepal. The movies will cover genres such as politics, tourism, lifestyle and various cultures across the world.
