]]>The film festival will showcase movies from 12 countries including Egypt, Ghana, Germany, Kenya, Malawi, Norway, Senegal, South Africa, United Kingdom and Zimbabwe.
“We have already finished the selection process of African cinemas to view here in the capital,” said Manju Mishra, Chairperson, CJMC.
Mishra says that there are totally 25 movies which include animated films, documentaries feature films, and short films. Out of the 25 movies, Nepal has produced 13 movies.
The NAFF is the first festival in South Asia to showcase South African movies.
“Started seven years ago, this festival is an opportunity to view African countries through movies,” said Mishra.

]]>The film fest, being organized in collaboration with the Balkumari and Zanzibar Film Festival, Tanzania and College of Journalism and Mass Communication (CJMC), will be featuring a total of 9 movies representing 14 different countries. Dr Khatey will be representing Nepal. The movies will cover genres such as politics, tourism, lifestyle and various cultures across the world.
