In a recent move enhancing Nepal governance, Nepal<\/a> and Japan have entered into a new partnership that envisages to help Nepal Government in its human resource development.<\/p>\n As part of the move, Japan Ambassador, Masamichi Saigo and Nepal Ministry of Finance Secretary Dr. Rajan Khanal signed and exchanged notes for a grant worth NPR 274.1 million to the Nepal government.<\/p>\n The grant provisions the implementation of the scheme, which envisages to train Nepali Government officials on HRDS theme in Japanese universities, will be implemented in Japan\u2019s Fiscal Year 2018.<\/p>\n To further the process, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Chief Representative Jun Sakuma and Nepal International Economic Cooperation and Coordination (NIECC) Joint Secretary Sreekanth Nepal signed a grant agreement for implementation of the Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship (HRDS) Scheme.<\/p>\n After a strict evaluation process, 20 Nepal Government officials were selected for the \u2018Nepali JDS Fellows\u2019 third batch.<\/p>\n About JDS<\/strong> These officials are expected to utilize this training to formulate and implement socio-economic development plans & programs and represent their respective countries as leaders of development.<\/p>\n This scheme is also seen as a means to strengthen partnerships between Japan<\/a> and recipient countries by engaging human relations chains that will cater to global needs in the future.<\/p>\n The Japanese Embassy wishes the selected officials a grand success for their Master\u2019s Degree at the respective universities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" In a recent move enhancing Nepal governance, Nepal and Japan have entered into a new partnership…<\/span><\/p>\n
