The Nepali Government is all set to vaccinate children above 12 years of age against COVID-19 infection.<\/p>\n
The decision comes hot on heels of the arrival of over 100,620 doses of Pfizer vaccine to the country from the USA.<\/p>\n
The American Government donated the Pfizer vaccine doses to Nepal to fight the coronavirus pandemic<\/a> under the COVAX initiative.<\/p>\n According to the US Embassy in Kathmandu, the vaccines were brought via a flight of Qatar Airways today morning.<\/p>\n \u201cJust Arrived: 100,620 doses of Pfizer vaccine have just arrived in Nepal. These vaccines have been donated by the U.S. government to Nepal to fight COVID-19 in partnership with COVAX. Stay tuned for more. #InThisTogether,\u201d tweeted US Embassy in Kathmandu.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n This is the first time the Himalayan nation had received Pfizer vaccine.
