In a bid to improve academic collaboration and bilateral relations, Nepal\u2019s Mid-West University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chandigarh University in India.<\/p>\n
The MoU signing ceremony was held at the Chandigarh University, Punjab on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Mid-West University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh and Chandigarh University Pro-Chancellor Prof. Dr. R.S. Bawa inked the MoU in the presence of professors and officials of the universities.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe objective of the signing the MoU between the two universities is to foster academic excellence, faculty and student exchange, research collaboration, quality education, positive environment, paradigm shift, transformative initiatives, cultural and contextual relevant models for development,\u201d said the Mid-West University in a press release.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Moreover, the MoU also aims at creating opportunities for professional development to prepare graduates fit to face the 21st<\/sup> century global needs.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to the Mid-west University, the MoU will be valid for five years from now and will be extended with mutual understanding.<\/p>\n
