As the second wave of coronavirus pandemic spread rapidly across Nepal, the nation is seeing a record-high number of new daily COVID-19 cases for the fifth day in a row. In the last 24 hours, Nepal has reported a new record high of 8,970 infections, outpacing the previous day\u2019s record of 8,605. With this, COVID-19 cases tally reached 368,580. Currently, there are 72,561 active cases and 292,490 recovery cases.<\/p>\n
The Himalayan country has also more than 50 deaths for the third straight day. In the last 24 hours, 54 people have succumbed to coronavirus, taking the nation\u2019s death toll to 3,529.<\/p>\n
As the second wave continues to grapple the country, the Nepali Government has come up with various helplines\/emergency numbers to help people gather authentic information about the crisis.<\/p>\n
