As the coronavirus returns in a most infectious variant, the Himalayan nation, same as the other global countries, has started reimposing curfews, partial lockdown, and other restrictions to curb the second wave.<\/p>\n
Lately, the Nepali Government has decided to suspend issuing new work permits for citizens aspiring to seek employment in foreign countries, with effect from today, i.e., May 7, 2020.<\/p>\n
Issuing a public notice on Thursday, the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) has directed the Foreign Employment Office to stop issuing new work permits for foreign employment until further notice.<\/p>\n
