The coronavirus situation in Nepal<\/a> has changed abruptly and rapidly since April 2021, with resurgence forcing the government to implement various lockdown restrictions again.<\/p>\n Lately, the Nepali Government has decided to cancel all the pre-scheduled examinations of universities<\/strong> that were being organized by following social distance rules.<\/p>\n The Central COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC)<\/strong> has taken the decision to this effect during a meeting on Saturday. All the university-level examinations are postponed until further notice in view of sharp use in coronavirus infections across the country, according to the press statement issued by the CCMC.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other restrictions recommended by the CCMC are:<\/strong><\/p>\n Local authorities of Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur are expected to enforce lockdown as these districts have already reported more than 500 coronavirus cases.<\/p>\n According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu has witnessed 6,521 new infections<\/strong>, the highest in a district. Meanwhile, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts have registered 1,351 and 613 new infection cases as of Saturday.<\/p>\n Some other districts, including Rupanedhi, Banke, Morang, Parsa, Kaski, and Dang, have also witnessed more than 500 cases each.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So far, Nepal has reported 300,119 coronavirus infection cases<\/strong> and 3,164 death cases<\/strong>.
