The Chairman of the ruling CPN-UML party KP Sharma Oli reshuffled the party\u2019s all key positions during the first Central Committee (CC) meeting of the reinstated UML on Friday.<\/p>\n
However, the CC members of the party close to senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal were not invited to the meeting.<\/p>\n
The meeting made some vital decisions, especially the transfer of responsibilities given to the leaders close to senior leader Nepal to the leaders belonging to the erstwhile CPN (Maoist Center).<\/p>\n
Other decisions include holding the party\u2019s general convention from November 18-22, amending the party\u2019s statute, and scrapping all office-bearers\u2019 positions except the post of Chairman and General Secretary. Most of the scrapped positions were held by the leaders close to Nepal.<\/p>\n
