Lately, on Friday, the Nepali Government approved the emergency use of AstraZeneca\u2019s \u2018Covishield\u2019 vaccine<\/strong> manufactured in India.<\/p>\n \u201cThe vaccine produced by the Serum Institute of India has been given conditional permission for emergency use,\u201d informed the Department of Drug Administration (DDA), Nepal\u2019s drug regulatory body.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n India has already approved the emergency use of Covishiled by SII and Covaxin by Bharath Biotech. PM Modi will virtually launch the world’s largest COVID-19 vaccination drive on 16 January, at 10:30 AM.<\/p>\n So far, Nepal has reported 266,816 coronavirus infection cases<\/strong>, with 270 new cases<\/strong> in the last 24 hours.
