With more than 1.4 million lives already claimed by the COVID-19, the global countries, including Nepal, are desperate to defeat the pandemic.<\/p>\n
In the last 24 hours, the Nepali Government has reported 1,255 new coronavirus positive cases, taking the total COVID-19 caseload to 231,978.<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Health and Population Spokesperson Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the new cases were recorded after 8,013 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests were conducted across the nation.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, 25 patients have lost their lives due to the coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, pushing the COVID-19 tally in the country to 1,479.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, a total of 1,404 have recovered successfully from the infection and got discharged in the past 24 hours. The total recovery cases in Nepal now stands at 212,590.<\/p>\n
Currently, there are 17,909 active cases in the country.<\/p>\n
Among the 1,255 new COVID-19 cases reported in the country, the highest 548 cases were registered in the Kathmandu Valley on Sunday.<\/p>\n
According to the MoHP, 422 cases were reported in Kathmandu, 65 in Bhaktapur, and 61 in Lalitpur.<\/p>\n
So far, the global coronavirus cases have reached 63,072,475, with 1,465,181 deaths and 43,545,829 recovery cases. Currently, there are 18,061,465 active cases, with 17,956,128 in mild condition and 105,337 in critical condition.<\/p>\n
