Nepal is all set to participate in the upcoming 25th<\/sup> edition of the World Powerlifting Championship<\/strong> scheduled to be held from December 4 \u2013 7, 2020<\/strong>, in Maharashtra, India.<\/p>\n \u201cThe 2020 Powerlifting Championship will see athletes from 25 countries, including Nepal,\u201d said Jiban Giri, Vice-President of the Asian Powerlifting Federation.<\/p>\n According to the Nepal Powerlifting Association (NPA), five Nepali athletes, four men, and a woman will compete with the international players in the 2020 World Powerlifting Championship.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The athletes are as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n As per NPA President Sundar Bhusal, an eight-member team, including five athletes, two coaches, and a manager, will leave for India on December 3.<\/p>\n Bhusal expressed his belief that the Championship will be an important step for Nepal to revive sports activities that have come to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, the NPA is preparing to organize a national powerlifting competition after selecting athletes from all seven provinces.<\/p>\n Stay Tuned to NepaliSansar<\/a> for Latest Nepali Sports News<\/a>!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Nepal is all set to participate in the upcoming 25th edition of the World Powerlifting Championship…<\/span><\/p>\n\n
