The Himalayan country is gradually becoming unsafe for women as sexual assault cases are on the rise every year.<\/p>\n
According to the Nepal Police’s latest statistics, 2,144 rape cases and 687 attempts to rape cases were reported in the fiscal year 2019\/20. Even though the cases in FY 2019\/20 are less than the cases in FY 2018\/19, the rape incidents have spiked in the past two years compared to earlier years.<\/p>\n
