In the turn of events, Jamaica Tallawahs have selected Nepali cricket player Sandeep Lamichhane in the second round for the 2020 edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL).

Sandeep has signed a contract worth around USD 130,000 with Jamaica Tallawahs.

This is the third time Sandeep has been selected for the CPL tournament. Earlier, he had represented St. Kitts And Nevis Patriots, and Barbados Tridents in the CPL.

However, Lamichhane had quit the CPL 2019 tournament in the middle as he had to play for his national team in the 2020 World Cup League 2 matches.

Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi, Australian batsman Ben Dunk and West Indies players Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Oshane Thomas and Glenn Phillips are involved in Jamaica Tallawahs.

It is a great honor to be the first pick in #TheBiggestPartyInSports – @CPL. Playing in Caribbean is an experience in itself. I love the support I have always received from Caribbean people. Look forward to an exciting journey with my team @JAMTallawahs. #SL25 #RiseAndRise pic.twitter.com/86Qnczlcfb
