Nepal has reported 9,561 coronavirus positive cases and 23 death cases. Currently, there are 7,390 active cases and 2,148 recovery cases.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the coronavirus pandemic continues to accelerate across the world and infected 138,975 people in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
The most significant increase was from the USA with 31,496 new coronavirus cases, followed by Brazil (24,358), Russia (7,600) and India (13,540).<\/p>\n
The global coronavirus cases have doubled since May 16, and more than a million new cases were recorded in the last seven days.<\/p>\n
As of today, the global COVID-19 infection cases stand at 9,188,362 with 474,339 death cases. Meanwhile, a total of 4,937,282 patients were recovered successfully.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Among the 3,776,741 active cases, 3,718,853 patients are in mild condition and 57,888 in critical condition.<\/p>\n
COVID-19 Pandemic in Nepal<\/h2>\n
Nepal has been witnessing over 400 new COVID-19 cases per day on average for the last seven days.\u00a0In the last 24 hours, the nation has reported 535 new coronavirus cases, taking the total count to 9,561.<\/p>\n
However, Nepal has not recorded any new death cases on Monday.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the country has recorded the highest single-day recovery of 370 patients in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Ministry (MoHP), around 2,142 patients were recovered in the country so far.<\/p>\n
The Nepali Government has conducted 6,198 PCR tests and 5,929 RDT in 22 different laboratories across the country in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
So far, 181,371 samples were tested through the PCR and 268,103 through the RDT.<\/p>\n
Currently, 90,730 people are in quarantines and 7,789 people are in isolation across the country.<\/p>\n
