Dang district recorded 56 coronavirus infection cases, the highest count in a single day so far. The district authorities informed that all the new patients have recently returned from India.<\/p>\n
With the sudden surge in case, the local authorities have sealed off Ghorahi Sub-metropolis-4 on June 16.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, 117 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the country, taking the total recovery count to 1,158.<\/p>\n
However, the country has not witnessed any new COVID-19 death cases.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), around 5,055 suspects were tested through PCR in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

So far, 367,257 samples were tested for coronavirus in the country. Of these, 143,738 samples were tested through the PCR method and 223,519 through the RDT method.<\/p>\n
Currently, 5,531 people are in isolation and 133,009 are in quarantines across the country.<\/p>\n
